iCandy World recalls Cherry Strollers due to strangulation hazard

iCandy World has recalled 830 of its Cherry strollers because the opening between the bumper bar and seat bottom can allow an infant to pass through and become entrapped at the neck, posing a potential strangulation hazard, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).

The recalled iCandy Cherry strollers were sold for $400 by Buy Buy Baby and other retailers from October 2009 through December 2012. The recall only includes strollers in Fudge (light-medium brown) and Liquorice (red and black). The stroller has a white cherry logo on the rear of the seat and a label under the basket fabric on the frame tubing. Affected models are listed in the chart below.icandy
