Strollers Recalled Due to Fingertip Amputations

Kolcraft is recalling more than 36,000 of its strollers after reports that three children’s fingertips were cut off, and two adults smashed or cut their fingers in a hinge. These accidents were said to occur when the hinges on the strollers were being locked or unlocked.

The recalled strollers were sold between 2006 and June, 2012 for $150-$160. The models of the strollers that are being recalled include Kolcraft Contours Options three- and four-wheeled strollers: ZL002, ZL005, ZL008, ZL015 and ZL018. They were made in China between 2006 and 2009.
